Depending on location, the total starting package for this position is £59,304 –
£61,404 per annum (c. USD $79,150 - $81,400) including salary and all allowances.

About the role
Our Technical Field Managers are the core of our work. MAG’s AMD Technical Field Managers liaise with national and local defence and security authorities, seeking to improve weapons and ammunition stockpile management. AMD operations focus on armoury construction, design and management, weapons management, needs assessment and bulk demolitions. MAG’s TFMs are responsible for the day-to-day management of all technical interventions and as well as managing administration, finance, procurement, reporting and planning.

About the role
The successful candidate must be EOD Level 3 qualified and will ideally be both qualified and experienced in AMD work and bulk demolitions. However, we will also consider applicationsfrom candidates who have gained the relevant technical skills within the military, providing they are qualified to EOD Level 3 standards. Experience in Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW) or Physical Security and Stockpile Management (PSSM) will be advantageous. Successful candidates will also need excellent diplomacy and liaison skills to effectively build relationships with partners, local authorities and security forces. As some of our TFM are the
only AMD technical person in the programme, it is crucial that the candidate is self-reliant and holds a high level of initiative. Finally, all candidates must be willing to take on the challenges of working in the developing world and working as part of a flexible and committed team, to save lives in communities that need it most.
Fluent written and spoken English Language skills are essential.
