Subject matter expert in unmanned aerial systems (UAS) to include all UAS systems status, inventory, and reporting systems
Reports daily UAS, equipment and personnel status reports
Provides technical input to engineering reports
Performs field support engineering functions to include O&M UAS systems maintenance, information assurance, and network communications connectivity
Provides liaison support to regional commands to include US Army Forces- Afghanistan and NATO commands
Ensures the day to day operations of the forward site are effectively and efficiently implemented, coordinated, and conducted in compliance with government requirements and quality standards
Monitors all UAS logistics activity to ensure parts and equipment are available to work not-mission capable (NMC) equipment. Performs other duties as assigned
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Associates Degree (AA/AS) and 5 years of qualified experience or 10 years of qualified experience in lieu of degree
Current DoD Secret Clearance required; Top Secret/SCI access preferred
Candidate must be able to work and live in U.S. Military Bases in austere environment
Wescam MX-15/MX-20 Full Motion Video surveillance systems
UHF Communications Systems to include PRC-117G; including TTNT radios
Hands-on experience with unmanned aerial systems
Effective oral and written communication skills; capable interpreting critical systems schematics and design diagrams
O&M experience with UAS equipment to include maintaining systems in desolate/remote environments
